Bud

Bud refers to the dense, resinous, harvest-ready flower of the female cannabis plant. Buds are the primary smokable, vaporizable form of cannabis and contain the highest concentrations of cannabinoids and terpenes. 'Nug' (short for nugget) is a common synonym.
Example: These nugs are dripping with trichomes.
Etymology: General botanical term adopted into cannabis vernacular.
