CBN (cannabinol) is a mildly psychoactive cannabinoid produced when THC degrades from heat, light, or oxygen exposure over time. CBN is most associated with sedation and sleep, though clinical evidence is preliminary. CBN tinctures and gummies are popular as a 'sleep cannabinoid' alternative or addition to melatonin.
Example: CBN gummies are commonly marketed as sleep aids.
